Day two.  That first cup of coffee sure is good after a wet, cool night.  I awoke at about 3:30 this morning to find water dripping in on me at a steady rate.  Better get out there and rig up some plastic, because it's coming down good and steady.  It's about 4:15 now and that's all set up.  So go grab the spare sleeping bag out of the truck, mop up some of the water on the floor with a towel, and get some sleep!  Should've put the plastic on when I set up yesterday but: well that's hindsight.  It's always 20/20?  Oh maybe only 20/40 at 4:00 in the morning.
The rain finally let up some time this morning when I was still in bed.  Headed out across the lake at about 11:00 to try some fishing.  There's a nice sandy bottom along some of the western shore. I was catching a few small pinfish on the fly rod with a black imitation spider.  Didn't get any keepers this time though, maybe we'll try later.
Started to rain again later that evening. Last night in camp and it's still raining. So I'm setting in the tent writing down some notes about this campout. It's been fun. Too short though, see you next trip.  JWE
